....so I named my blog Manhattan Blondie.

Then I died my hair brown.
and I'm kinda sad about it.

and I feel silly. because my blog name is now a misrepresentation of who I am.

So just don't take the blog name literally.

....but don't take it figuratively either.

I went to this store in Soho today.

my heart skipped a couple beats.

We saw a girl holding a dead dog on the subway today.

1st thought: poor dog.

2nd thought: poor girl.

3rd thought: poor subway passengers. That dog stunk.

We went to a yummy Thai place called Isle

Then we saw the apartment they filmed I am legend in.

by getting a free make-over today from style.com.

We totally fit in now.

Librarian Aspirations

Welcome to the New York City Public Library.

The most awesomest, most nerd inspiring place I've visited thus far.

They misspelled some words on this sign.

Looks like they replaced all the S's with F's.

Maybe they got confused.

Librarians look at a lot of words and a lot of letters.

They were probably just having a rough day.

I wanna be a librarian kinda.

Apparently there is a restaurant in Soho called "Bubbys" with the best sour cream pancakes ever invented. We were excited to try such a world renown attraction.

Much to our dismay it closed right when we got there for a "special event".

Obviously they weren't aware of who we were, cause anyone else would have known that when we step into any place of our choice it automatically becomes "a special event".

Super Bowl Sunday Spendor

Our friends invited us over for some Super Bowl excitement.

there was sooo much food, we barely made a dent.

I enjoyed watching the hairy men and big bellys.

They didn't look like they had very good smellys.

But as I curled up in my ball, completely content

full of yummy treats and splendid company

I drifted off to a land of sugar plums and fairies.

and I missed the last half of the game.

.....But I heard it was good.

Mr. Grimaldi

We ate Grimaldi's Pizza this weekend. right under the brooklyn bridge.

I am getting spoiled with all this goodness.

Pizza friends = forever friends.
I couldn't but help ask if this Mr. man was Grimaldi himself.
